Might help if I added text after a title instead of just pressing enter in the title bit.. *sigh* been a long day to end a long weekend.
We went to Simon's Parents' house for Tea because it was Simon's Mum's birthday on Friday before.
It was a huge and gorgeous meal I have to say and I am pleasantly plump, Roast Beef, Roast Pork, pigs in blankets, sausagemeat, roast tatties, yorkshire pud, carrots, boiled new spuds, broccoli, sprouts, peas, leeks in cheese sauce, gravy... apple sauce *burps again* and then for pud was pears and peach halves in juice with cream which I had one pear and one peach half, then his Mum's birthday cake which was a vanilla cake there was also coffee and walnut cake and bakewell slices on offer, she really did do a spread.
We always eat really well when we go to Si's parents' house she cooks enough to overflow everyone's plates and there was 10 of us there as well! Heaven help us when James and Adam have girlfriends and bring them, that'll be 12 people to sit round two tables (they have a dining room table which currently sits 6 but has had 8 around it, and a posh table in the kitchen which seats 4)
Euan started playing up towards the end because his begging was not working when he was trying to persuade ANYONE to play on Adam's Wii with him, Adam felt ill and didn't want to play so Adam said to get James to play it with him, but no, he wouldn't do it either, then Michael got asked and he definitely refused so Euan was getting more and more worked up that no-one wanted to play it with him.
We left at about 8pm and got home and in the house by about 9.30pm and then by the time I had the children in bed it was nigh on 10pm, we're off to bed in a minute so we're lucky that the children had fallen asleep in the car so that they were tired enough to fall into a deep sleep straight away.
Now I have to persuade Oscar to get out of Bronny's bedroom so that we can go to bed too.
